We made the decision tonight. We are moving back to my home in Nova Scotia. We are thinking it will be the first or second week of October when we leave here. We will be driving down and I want to get there before the bad weather hits.
Most likely we will be staying with my oldest daughter for a couple weeks until we find a house down there that we can rent for the time being. We know we can get jobs.
A few things influenced us. One, my youngest has an upcoming operation on her heart to repair a hole in it. She has a young baby and is going to need help. Other reason being I have two grandsons which I have not seen in person yet and I don't want them growing up not knowing me.
I miss the girls and talking to them on the phone is just not cutting it anymore.
Please keep you fingers crossed that everything works out for us.

Good luck with your move ... my grandson is on the West Coast with his Navy Dad [my son] and Mom ... I only get to see him once or twice a year ... he's a year old and I visited with my son's family only three times ... between visits he grows and changes so dramatically ... so I understand your motivations entirely. I love your Seasons of Plenty pillows on the slide show ... I have yet to assemble mine though the stitching has been done for 8 months. The work on your 8/10 post is also quite lovely.
